Where and who should I report to?
Is there parking available on site?
What is the dress code?
Will I need to bring a packed lunch or is there somewhere nearby I can buy something to eat from?
What will my working hours be? Will these remain the same for the duration of my employment?
Do I need to attend any courses as part of my induction?
When will I receive my contract of employment?
Not only will asking questions show enthusiasm, but by obtaining the answers to some of these questions you can ensure you will arrive on time on your first day with no unforeseen hiccups. After all “Proper preparation prevents poor performance”.
