Job Description
Our client, an international company specialising in the manufacturing of paper packaging and bags is looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Warehouse Operative with a forklift experience for their busy site on the outskirts of Maidstone working on a temporary to possible permanent basis.
Applicants must be able to start work on Monday 11th May.
The role will include:
- Moving products in and out of the warehouse as appropriate
- Pick and pack goods for customer orders
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Load and unload pallets and vehicles
- Ensure products loaded are safe for transit
- Assist with deliveries when possible
- Keep warehouse work area tidy
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
Applicants will have:
- Counterbalance forklift experience
- Order picking experience
- Goods in and goods out knowledge
- Worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
The standard hours of work will be 7:00am to 3:45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2:30pm finish every Friday.
The starting hourly pay rate will be £12.71 increasing to £13.05 if the successful candidate goes permanent.
There is also an attendance bonus scheme and a productivity bonus scheme of up £250 per month.
The client site is based on an excellent public transport route and there is onsite parking for staff.
