Job Description

Our client a Facilities Maintenance Contractor who undertake maintenance and repairs for commercial properties including, but not limited to: retail parks, shopping centres, offices and restaurants are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team.

They are continually looking to develop the business and are now looking to expand their FM services across the UK with existing and new clients.

You will be a part of a fast-paced business that promotes high standards and prides itself on delivering the best possible service to all clients.

In this role you will be responsible in the care and support of clients. You will seek new business by networking, cold calling, or other methods of producing interest from potential clients.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

· Prospect for potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities

· Present new services to improve existing relationships

· Engage internal and external contacts

· Submit and ensure data is accurate on weekly progress reports

· Manage customer experience and handle customer escalations in a fast and efficient manner

Qualifications and Skills

· 3 Years sales experience

· Excellent communication and IT fluency

· Ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines

· Superior time management and organisational skills

· In-depth knowledge of the industry and current events

· Ability to provide leaderships in developing bids and opportunities


· Sales 3 years (Required)

· FM Industry, 3 years (Required)

· Business development, 3 years (Required)

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Salary: 30,000 – £35,000 plus commission
