Our client based in Sittingbourne is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis with the possibility of permanent employment.

The hours of work can be flexible between 6 and 8 ½ hour per day with the client flexible about the start (between 8am and 9am) and finish time (between 3pm and 5pm) working Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate will be £12.24 per hour.
The role is primarily responsible for the administration, checking and payment of employed, subcontractor and temporary staff timesheets as well as weekly and monthly invoices. In addition, calculating productivity pay and administration of vehicle tracking data.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of processing subcontractor payments (engineers, electricians, carpenters & other trades).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Analytical and organised work style.
- Deadline focused.
Principal Accountabilities
- Processing engineer timesheets – employed, contractor & agency staff.
- Calculating productivity pay.
- Cross checking vehicle tracker data.
- Admin relating to subcontractors including IR35 & Public Liability insurance checks.
- Communication with subcontractors and field management to resolve queries.
- General admin tasks as required.
