Our client, an independent Estate Agency are looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator to join their branch on the outskirts of Maidstone.
About the Role
They are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to build or progress a career within residential lettings. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing applicant enquiries, and delivering a high level of service to both landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Registering applicants and understanding their property requirements
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
- Generating new landlord instructions and business opportunities
- Maintaining regular contact with landlords, tenants, and applicants
- Coordinating tenancy progression from offer agreed through to move-in
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant lettings legislation and company procedures
- Supporting the wider team to achieve branch targets
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in estate agency or lettings (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and every other Saturday with a day off in lieu midweek. 1 hour lunch break 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: £24,784.50 – £26,000 per annum with OTE approx. £30,000 depending on experience.
