Our client a rapidly growing Biotech business based in the Maidstone area are looking to recruit a Production and Office Admin Assistant to join their team.
Role: To support the activities of the production & admin team and meet customer product needs and general bespoke projects. To work closely with the Production Manager to ensure consistent on-time assembly of product orders and assist in maintaining ongoing admin and stock records.
Key activities:
Work as part of a team in a busy environment, must be driven, enthusiastic, and able to take instruction. Check product quality before and after assembly
Keep a clean and safe working environment.
Optimize space usage.
Report any discrepancies.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Specifically, the applicant will have:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Accurate keyboard skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & Outlook).
Have a ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated, & ability to work under pressure
Analytical mindset, good hand/eye co-ordination & a willingness to learn new skills
Skills and Experience:
Experience and understanding of working to ISO 9001 standards & environments.
You must be driven, enthusiastic, and able to take instruction.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (5 GCSE)
Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
Flexible approach to work activities with the ability to adapt to change and work efficiently as part of a team.
This role is a Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm (1hr lunch), Fri 8:30am-4pm (½hr lunch)
Full training will be provided on all equipment and procedures – these will evolve and be on going during ‘on the job’ training.
Own transport preferred – free parking
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum
28 days holiday including bank holidays
