UNHAPPY WORKERS
Unhappy London
By Earl Street - 3/Jun/2008
A recent survey of the UK has found that workers in London are currently ranked as the most unhappy with their current positions at work. On average, workers in London think about trying to find a new role at least once every day.
Despite the areas of high paying jobs, and relative wealth in London, workers are relatively unhappy. This could be put down to a bad work/life balance, higher costs of living, and less ability to own your own property.
Currently thousands of workers board trains across Kent every morning to make the commute to London for work. Kent companies looking towards their next recruitment drive would do well to focus on th work/life balance they offer, and the decreased cost to employees of travelling into work within Kent, versus commuting to London.
